Clean links and UTM
Tags and UTM fields go to the destination only, so the short link you share has nothing added to it.
Nothing added to the short link#
The short link is the back-half you chose, and nothing more. Linkaloo never adds a reference or a tracking parameter to it.
UTM fields#
If you set UTM fields on a link (source, medium, campaign and content), Linkaloo adds them to the destination address when it sends the visitor on. The page you own receives them and your own analytics can use them. The link you share is unchanged.
What a visitor brings#
Keep query is off by default: anything added to the short link itself is not passed on. If you turn it on for a link, query parameters on the short link are passed to the destination, but only keys the destination does not already carry.
Tags#
Tags are for you: they help you find and group links on the dashboard. They are not sent anywhere.
